We are a certified GAPP provider helping families access Georgia's Medicaid-funded pediatric nursing and personal care program โ so your child can thrive at home, surrounded by love.
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid-funded program administered by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH). It provides in-home skilled nursing care and personal care services for children under 21 with complex medical needs who would otherwise require hospitalization or institutional care.
GAPP allows families to keep their medically fragile children at home while receiving the skilled medical care they need โ maintaining comfort, family bonds, and quality of life.
GAPP services are covered by Georgia Medicaid at no cost to eligible families. Parental income does not affect eligibility when applying through the Katie Beckett Waiver.

We help families navigate GAPP paperwork, coordinate with physicians for letters of medical necessity, and communicate with Medicaid on your behalf.
The child must be enrolled in Georgia Medicaid under the most advantageous coverage category โ including SSI, Family Medicaid, or ABD Medicaid.
GAPP serves medically fragile children and young adults from infancy up to their 21st birthday.
The child must demonstrate the same level of care necessary for admission to a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
All GAPP services require prior authorization from Alliant Health Solutions or the child's Care Management Organization. We assist families with this process.
The Katie Beckett Waiver is a special Medicaid eligibility pathway for children under 18 with disabilities. Crucially, it takes parental income out of the picture โ eligibility is based entirely on the child's medical needs.
This means families who earn too much to qualify for regular Medicaid may still access GAPP services for their child through this waiver.
